Joan Taylor-Rowan lives in St Leonards-on-Sea, where she teaches creative writing. She was recently awarded a Masters with Distinction in Creative Writing and has just completed a novel about an unusual female friendship, set in wartime England. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous anthologies, been placed in many competitions and been broadcast on BBC radio 4. About this workshop

Behind every small-ad is a story waiting to be discovered. This workshop will give you an opportunity to imagine what these stories could be, and to include your own real life experiences.
In the second part of the workshop we will explore wider meanings of lost and found.
